#ErasmusFest – Celebrating Diversity was a 2-day event:
1st Day: Erasmus is coming to town (13th July 2017)
During the 1st day of our event, the organiser tried to raise awareness and inform the local community about the importance of Erasmus+ and the variety of mobility opportunities that can offer to young people and not only. For this reason, they came up with different Erasmus+ promotion activities such as Erasmus Parade and All I want is Erasmus+ that took place in the heart of the city of Kastoria, right close to the lake ‘’Orestiada’’.
2nd Day: So, you think you can Erasmus? (14th July 2017)
During the 2nd day of our event, we focused more on the development of our volunteers. We tried a. to educate them on Erasmus+ programme, b. to raise awareness and make them understand the importance of the programme, and c. to empower our alumni to become our Erasmus+ Ambassadors!
In conclusion , #ErasmusFest - Celebrate Diversity was a very successful event that gave the opportunity to the participants as well as the local community of Kastoria to learn and understand the importance of Erasmus+ programme. It was also a great way for the local sections of ESN Greece to celebrate 30 years of Erasmus through various interactive activities, engaging simultaneously the volunteers of Erasmus Student Network with the local community of Kastoria.
