Erasmus Days 2019

Celebration of #ERASMUSDAYS 2019 from October 10th to 12th 2019

#ERASMUSDAYS 2019 is an initiative launched by Erasmus+ National Agencies to celebrate Erasmus+ and its activities all over the world. It is the occasion to share and showcase your projects and experiences and/or organize an event you had already been planning to. Register your #ErasmusDays Event now, participate and share your Erasmus+ experience.

What’s new within garagErasmus (gE)?

1. The International Talents Match project, launched in partnership with universities, has the aim to facilitate the employment of young professionals with international study or work mobility experiences, who showcase their abilities in order to be hired. So far, two editions have been organised in 2018 in Milan (Italy) and Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain); further editions are currently being organised in Porto (Portugal), Bordeaux (France), Brussels (Belgium) and Rome (Italy) from October to December 2019.

2. Launched at the occasion of the XXX Anniversary of the ERASMUS+ programme, the Laissez-Passer of the Erasmus Generation is a project that awards a symbolic passport - ‘Laissez-Passer’ - to distinguished European talents with study or work mobility experiences.

3. EYVOL is a 2-year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and aimed at developing a common framework on “Sport Volunteerism” as a means to promote social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, peace building and socio-economic development in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

4. IYE-LABs is a transnational cooperation partnership that allows a group of stakeholders from youth, volunteering and social inclusion backgrounds to collaborate in a project aimed to foster inclusive youth environments by implementing innovative and participative practices.

5. Managed by the SEND Mobility Consortium, SEND Universities for EU projects intends to promote a strategic alliance between Higher Education and the labour market in Europe, offering opportunities for mobility, traineeship and training for students, recent graduates and staff of Higher Education Institutes (HEI) in the field of Social Innovation.

EMA Handover meeting in Rotterdam

From September 20th to 23rd 2019, the newly selected EMA Management Board met for the first time. Following the crucial handover process, EMA now has an #EMAzing team as their new Management Board, led by two powerhouses as President and Vice-President. Watch out for news coming from the new Management Board.

ESN renewed its partnership with Ryanair, which gives hundreds of thousands of Erasmus+ students travelling discounts.
