The gE4Brussels in cooperation with the European Parliament, garagErasmus Foundation and the Union of European Federalists welcomed fifty people from different countries at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium on 8th of February 2019. The project reached out to around 22,000 people on social media. As a training project, we met "Cluster 4: Capacity Building", as it contributed to the enhancement of the skills of Erasmus+ students and alumni. As the subject of the training specifically dealt with civic engagement and citizen empowerment regarding the European elections 2019, the project also covered "Cluster 3: Increasing Social Inclusion, Empowerment, and Participation". The Erasmus+ students and alumni who benefitted directly from the project, also acted as multipliers and contributed to the democratic participation of additional European citizens in the European elections 2019.
