Before we could start with the Conference, first there was one important thing that we had to do - promotion. During that period we promoted the event through social media platforms of ESN Novi Sad. Results were astonishing. Exactly 53 local students showed up, and among them were six students with disabilities, on whose presence we are especially proud.
At the very beginning of our event, IRO of the University of Novi Sad welcomed all participants and presented Erasmus+ program. The conference continued with a promotion of ESAA organization, as well as ESN Novi Sad. After the presentations, participants had a chance to engage in discussion. This cleared all doubts about Erasmus+ application process for scholarships within Europe.
We also had a practical part. After covering the theoretical basis of CV and motivational letter and showing a few online CV templates (https://goo.gl/KcVaQW , enhancv.com, etc.), as well as good examples of motivational letters, we let our participant show what they have learned. They were divided into the two groups, and each of them had an assignment within their respective group to work together and create a motivational letter and CV which they later presented.
At the end of the Conference, we just had to be happy because the knowledge the students gained was even bigger then we expected! They were also very active and showed interest in the whole Erasmus+ program.
Then we had the Round Table which encouraged students to become a part of Erasmus+ generation. Important thin is that this event was made in collaboration with EU Info Point and participants were returning local students and incoming students. Also participants of Conference had a chance to ask questions about Erasmus life, but they were also acquainted with one thing that woires all Erasmus+ students - post Erasmus depression.
The Round Table encouraged students to become a part of Erasmus+ generation.
The promotion of E+ program continued with visiting high schools Isidora Sekulic (with a student from Finland) and Svetozar Miletic (with two incoming students from Turkey and Spain). At the start of classes, we presented ESAA organization and Erasmus+ program to the students. The Erasmus students presented their cultures and their experiences on student exchange to the high school students. The high school students and the professors were very excited to see us and they liked the presentation held by the incoming students. This resulted in establishing a relationship with schools, so we will continue presenting Erasmus+ and ESAA organization in these schools. We are looking forward to these opportunities.
