Join the campaign of #SupportStudyAbroad

Support the Universities UK International and Universities UK in their demand to the UK Government to make a clear commitment of funding study abroad in case of a no-deal Brexit.

Dear ESAA-members,

Your help is needed in order to enable current and future UK students to participate in exchange programmes, such as Erasmus+, or to obtain funding for studying abroad in case of a no-deal Brexit.

The Universities UK International and Universities UK (UUKi) re-launched their national #SupportStudyAbroad campaign aiming to ask the UK Government to make a clear commitment to fund study abroad opportunities in 2020 and beyond.

Starting on the 6th February 2019, the first edition of the campaign #SupportStudyAbroad received powerful support and, thus, was already impactful: the campaign reached 6.38 million people and 16.56 million impressions were achieved on Twitter within only 2 weeks! However, the commitment from the UK Government to fund mobility after 2019, either through securing the UUKi's participation in Erasmus+ or, if necessary, by providing funding for a national replacement mechanism, is still missing.

As you all know how precious the experience of studying at an university abroad can be, please support the campaign and mobilize your friends to enable all those (future) students that have not had the chance to benefit from exchange opportunities yet.

Make the #SupportStudyAbroad Campaign a success by:

  • Tweeting your support for the campaign via your social media channels
  • Spreading the message to your friends
  • Writing to your MPs
