REALISE IT 2015 ENTREPRENEURSHIP INCUBATOR

Do you have a project, organisation, or company that you have not been able to develop, launch, or scale to its full potential? Are you part of the ESAA community (OCEANS, ESN, EMA or garagErasmus)? Then this may be your opportunity to accomplish that goal!

REALISE IT 2015 Entrepreneurship Incubator will be held in Berlin, Germany on 23-24 October 2015. Submit a project or idea proposal that aims to drive positive change and innovation with the help and support of fellow ESAA members in order to launch your dream into a reality! Selected individuals will be offered to attend  the incubator by themselves on behalf of their project. If the project leader is unavailable, the individual may contact REALISE IT to discuss if an alternate team member can substitute his or her place. Team member attendance otherwise can unfortunately not be considered. Dual leader pair attendance may be considered only should space be available.

  • Call for Proposals: Starts 7th August 2015
  • Deadline for Submissions: Closes 6th September 2015 at 23.59 CET
  • Decisions Announced: On or before 15th September 2015
  • Incubator Conference: 23th and 24th October 2015

REALISE IT (RI) is an initiative of ESAA Community, which aims to bring together the innovative ideas, talents, and the enthusiasm of our members within the developmental framework of international youth projects.  This event is intended to recognize the most promising new projects, innovations, companies, and organizations of ESAA Community that demonstrate great promise in terms of innovation, community development, and market potential.

Proposal Guidelines and Submissions

All project proposals must submit all of the requested items below:

  • A cover sheet with your name, ESAA affiliation(s) OCEANS, ESN, EMA or garagErasmus,  email address, and the anticipated location from which you would travel (1 page)
  • Statement of intention or motivation, showing a clear purpose and vision (1 page)
  • SWOT analysis (1-2 pages)Detailed timeline on project development for the 12 months following the conference in October (1 page)
  • Promising past results (only if applicable)Names and bios of yourself and any fellow team members, if applicable (only 2 members max)
  • Position descriptions for a team that you need help constructing (only if applicable)
  • Summary of materials, expertise, and capital you will need to bring the project to life (1-2 pages)

Please note, proposals of brand new ideas may be considered; however, proposals that are currently underway will receive preference within the selection process.

All documents must be submitted in one single PDF document to RI Leader, Stephanie Raible at stephanie.raible(at)esaa-eu.org no later than 6th September 2015 at 23.59 CET.

The selection criteria are:

  1. The level of innovation – in terms of novelty of concept, approach to the development of the solution from both technological and social perspectives.
  2. Level and quality of community integration and potential to improve the quality of ESAA

General market potential for the project, based on the presented analysis and understanding of the current and future market trends.

REALISE IT is comprised of ambitious individuals from within the ESAA Community who act as change agents employing innovative solutions to issues affecting our world.
