ESAA is an umbrella organisation that brings together the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA), Erasmus Student Network (ESN), garagErasmus (gE) and OCEANS Network.
ESAA brings together all European Union funded exchange students and alumni and offers a dynamic platform for networking, professional development and intercultural learning while promoting European Higher Education and worldwide cooperation.
With ESAA the visibility of the Erasmus+ as a fine example successful EU higher education will increase. As a member you have many different opportunities to travel around, meet people from all over the world, become creative and realise your ideas. We organise intercultural pre-departure trainings, have an experienced entrepreneurship incubator and support social projects of our members with dedicated funds.

Our mission is to enhance cooperation among Erasmus+ students and alumni. We organise activities that focus on strengthening their networking, professional development and intercultural learning, while promoting Higher Education in Europe and worldwide partnerships.
You can get involved in ESAA by becoming a member of one of the four organizations, which will allow you to participate in events and competitions. Calls for applications for events or activities are published on our website as well as on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
If you are interested in becoming an active volunteer, you can take part in one of the thematic Working Groups by following the apposite recruitment system. Contact the association you are a member of if you want to know more how to get involved.
ESAA offers a number of activities, events and services for the members of its four organizations. By joining ESAA you will be up to date about all what is happening through the bimonthly newsletter. You can network with likeminded people, meet new friends and stay in touch with old friends you met during the Erasmus+ period of study. We organize yearly an entrepreneurship incubator and we offer opportunities for soft skills trainings. We organize competitions with the chance of winning career trips or prizes and we offer some small funding to organize your own event.
Become involved in one of the five working groups, work on strategic questions, and establish action plans for the specific working group’s topic. Alternatively, volunteer and organize an own event to promote Erasmus+. Share your expertise and knowledge! There are numerous great opportunities to become a part of ESAA and have lots of fun.
