This ESAA-project, implemented by Cristian Constantin Paşka, initiated a three-day training in Beliș (Romania) from the 15th – 17th of November 2019 gathering a total of 44 student volunteers with the aim of reinforcing their soft skills, foster teambuilding and spreading knowledge about Erasmus+ mobilities.

The Erasmus+ Ambassadors Autumn Training was born from the need of providing qualitative training sessions to student volunteers to improve their communication abilities and knowledge regarding the Erasmus+ Mobilities.

Between 15th-17th of November 2019, 44 volunteers from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Cluj-Napoca, partner organisation of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), and its buddy sections gathered in Beliș, a village located in the Carpathians, for a three-day training event. Once everybody reached the venue, the event kicked off with some getting to know each other activities and a socialising night, so the participants could get a little bit more familiar with the new faces.

On the second day of the event, the participants dived deeper into the training and they were divided into two groups for more efficient workshop sessions. It was time to learn more about the Erasmus+ Mobilities and to improve their public speaking skills. The methods used by the trainers combined formal and non-formal education techniques, including presentations, role-play activities, games, debates, etc. The training also resulted in increasing the team spirit among the team, hence, during the evening, the facilitators delivered a structured game, focused on practicing the participants’ public speaking abilities. The atmosphere led to very open and intimate speeches which helped everybody get to know each other better.

During the third day, the trainers conducted different activities whose ultimate purpose was improving the participants’ communication skills. The methods focused a lot on teamwork. The workshop was followed by a feedback session and an appreciation round for the organisers and facilitators.

Few weeks after, the participants were able to practice their knowledge. Together with their buddy sections, ESN Cluj-Napoca organised a three-day event, the Mobility Days, focusing on informing the local students from Alba Iulia, Braşov, Cluj-Napoca and Târgu Mureş about the Erasmus+ Opportunities.
