International Jobs in Poland - where the career begins.

This ESAA-project implemented by Wiktoria Lachowska (Project Manager of Erasmus Student Network Poland) aims at creating new job opportunities for international youth, in particular students and Erasmus alumni in Poland, by developing their labour market-necessary skills during webinars and building a brand-new and uniquely focused on expats platform: jobs.esn.pl.

Wiktoria Lachowska

International Jobs in Poland, a project of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) and its partner organisation Erasmus Student Network Poland (ESN), focuses on the international part of the labour market in Poland and aims at making it more inclusive for expats deciding to pursue their professional career in our country. The Polish labour market is full of career opportunities and ESN Poland wants to raise awareness about this fact among the representatives of different nations with the main focus on the foreign students - Erasmus+ alumni, who spent their exchange period in our country. Unfortunately, due to lack of the relevant job vacancies websites in English, they were struggling to find any job offers.

Identifying this need, ESN Poland set up a project of a new complex website, which, combined with a series of workshops, will significantly help expats in developing their professional careers. The platform will serve not only as a place for job posting but also consist of a blog, which will gradually expand, offering tips and tricks on how Polish labour market works and how to find your way around it.

This project also includes a series of webinars accompanying the development of the webpage. Webinars are now one of the most popular ways of learning, not only because they allow the attendance from every part of the world, but primarily because they give you the chance to expand your knowledge in different topics. Not to mention that it is a perfect opportunity to learn from the experts! Even though the trainings were conducted in a digital form due to the coronavirus crisis, they were able to gather over 250 participants who got a chance to gain knowledge in fields of online marketing, international work environment, personal branding and personal development in the time of pandemic. To ensure the participants were learning from the best, we included the most experienced alumni from our own network - our commercial partners who delivered the workshops, giving the participants a great chance to get acquainted with real-life case studies and obtain skills necessary to rock the job market in XXI century.

We have reached close to 50.000 people via social media, which sets exceptionally good prediction for the outreach that is possible to achieve once the platform is fully running!

You can find the platform here.
