Organising your own alumni-led activities and events

Discover how the Erasmus+ Support Programme can help you create community-focused, alumni-led activities that promote Erasmus+ opportunities.

Are you an Erasmus+ Student or Alumni network member with a passion for making a difference?

The Erasmus+ Support programme offers structured support to help you organise local, community-focused activities that inspire and inform others about Erasmus+ opportunities.

A guidance document is available for activities supported under Work Package 3 of the Erasmus+ Support Service contract for 2026-2027. It outlines the objectives, eligible activities, how to apply, funding, reporting, and evaluation criteria to help you engage with alumni and promote participation in the Erasmus+ programme.

How the Expression of Interest (EOI) process works

To organise an activity under the Erasmus+ Support Programme, you will need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to your Network Boards.

The Network Boards shortlist the EOIs and forward them to the Erasmus+ Support Service Team. A review panel then assesses and approves the EOIs.

Your EOI should include:

  • a description of the proposed activity
  • an estimated budget
  • a clear work plan
  • an explanation of how the activity aligns with the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme.

When to submit your EOIs to your Network Boards

  • Round 1: deadline is 12 February 2026 for activities delivered between 30 April and 30 September 2026.
  • Round 2: deadline is 31 May 2026 for activities delivered between 1 September 2026 and 28 February 2027.

Priority regions

All activities must take place within Erasmus+ eligible regions. Priority is given to

Europe, Enlargement countries and the South Mediterranean region. You can find a detailed list of eligible countries and regions on the online Erasmus+ Programme Guide.

To ensure a balanced geographical spread, networks are encouraged to collaborate and develop joint WP3 EOI activities in countries where multiple networks are active. They are also encouraged to avoid repeating similar activities in locations or countries where several activities received support in 2025, particularly in Belgium, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, and Senegal.

Do you need further support?

If you need additional support with your activity idea, there are various resources available, including this guidance. You can also reach out to your Network Boards.
