Sportcom Intercultural Exchange

30 students from Thailand National Sport University Sukhothai Campus participated in “Sportcom Intercultural Exchange” on 19-20 July 2023. This project consists of two days intensive training on soft skill and hard skill under project collaboration between Erasmus Mundus Association, OCEANS network and Thailand National Sport University Sukhothai Campus.

On the sunny day 19 July 2023, the project was officially opened by the guest speaker, Vice President of Thailand National Sports University Sukhothai Campus, Dr. Kansiriraksa Boon-aiem and EU Ambassador to Thailand, H.E Mr. David Daly who joined virtually from Bangkok. Both of guest speaker gave motivation to the youth who joined the event.

The first day started with English training with the aims to honing the participant soft skill. This training was delivered by Ms. Panutda Hunsin who built the confidence of the trainees through various activities e.g English practices and game sessions which this knowledge was useful and connected to 2nd day event.

Moving on the second day on 20 July 2023, the project developed the hard skill through sports training “archery”, delivered by Mr. Theerawith Intapanya. The session was interesting with the group competition, either for those who experience or still new in Archery, they work together arranged the team strategy to become the winner. It was also Sport day in the university during our event project, so the university atmosphere was really supported to our event.

By this project, Sportcom Intercultural project also contribute through upskilling, where upskilling is the core of the European Year of Skill 2023.
